IHDC immersion heater is designed according to IEC/EN 60079-0, IEC/EN 60079-1, IEC/EN60079-2 and IEC/EN 60079-31 standards. This product can be used in Zone 1 and Zone 2 for explosive gas environment, Zone 21 and Zone 22 for explosive dust environment.

There are 3 sizes available for IHDC immersion heaters, IHDC-S (Small Size), IHDC-M (Medium Size) and IHDC-L (Large Size) with different power ratings. The heating sources are electrical resistance wire or PTC. All 3 sizes heaters have stainless steel material enclosure and stainless steel material heating element. For IHDC-S, there is also integrated stainless steel material cable gland with permanently connected high temperature resistant braid armoured cable.

IHDC immersion heater is used for heating liquids or solid in tanks, vessels or chambers. The typical applications may include compressor crankcase oil sump, hot water storage tanks, cleaning and rinsing tanks, warming equipment, food processing equipment, process air equipment, boiler equipment, heat transfer systems, preheating all grades of oil and freeze protection of any fluid etc.
